Installation

In order to use NMLPlay, the application which allows designing NEOSIM model and running neural simulations, you will have to go through the following steps. The installation notes include a description of the operations to be performed depending on the OS (Linux, MS-Windows) on which the application is installed.

• Install a single workstation environment : This is for most users who do not intend to run their simulations on a network of workstations.
• Install NMLPlay on a network of workstations : Optional, only for advanced users who which to speed up and scale up their simulations.
• Example of a NeuroML script: This is describes the XML design of an basic empty model.
