NEURON modeling environment Michael Hines is working with us to utilise the NEOSIM framework as the basis for future versions of the NEURON modeling environment. |
GENESIS modeling environment We are working with Jim Bower and Mike Hucka to incorporate the NEOSIM framework into future versions of the GENESIS modeling environment. |
Catacomb component and tools Robert Cannon works on interfacing Catacomb, a set of useful frameworks for models in neuroscience, with Neosim. |
Bliss We are also working with Marc-Oliver Gewaltig on using Neosim in BLISS, a joined effort of creating a simulation environment for neural systems which ensures reproducibility of results and allows for close collaboration down to the software level. |

Model of the cerebellar cortex Erik De Schutter is working on a morphologically and physiologically realistic network model of the cerebellar cortex. |

Model of the hippocampus William Levy (University of Virginia) is working on a biological model of the hippocampus that links hippocampal dependent cognition and behaviour to the neuronal activity of the hippocampus. |
Thalamocortical sleep rhythms Terrence Sejnowski is working on scaling up current biophysically realistic models of interacting thalamic and cortical networks to explore the effects of neuromodulators on thalamocortical sleep rhythms. Maxim Bazhenov's model of a slow wave sleep cortical network has been successfully converted to use Neosim and is ready for a scaling study. |
